Implementing Community Currencies

If you are considering introducing complementary currencies in your community, take a look at the Community Currency Guide. This is a workbook co-authored by Bernard Lietaer and Gwendolyn Hallsmith from Global Community Initiatives.  It will take you through the basic steps involved in evaluating, choosing and implementing a local community currency that improves your economy and builds local capacity.

There is also a useful section on the Implementation of Complementary Currencies on the website of the Complementary Currency Research Center.
